It will not end with us either.
Because most lives go unrecorded. Not for lack of significance, but for lack of an audience.
The algorithm rewards performance. It surfaces what is loud, compressed, immediately legible. The rich interior life, the person who reads deeply, thinks slowly, feels precisely, leaves no trace the feed can hold.
We believe this is a failure of infrastructure, not a verdict on value.
ARC exists because some moments deserve a different kind of record. One that doesn't expire. One that isn't measured in engagement. One that can only be understood later, possibly much later, by people who are not yet born.

ARC does not scale by design. The Steward reviews every application personally. Every screening call is a real conversation. Every capsule is sealed with care, not automation.

The archive grows through intention, not volume. Each capsule is considered, because preservation without attention is just storage.

The capsule is sealed for decades. The process that produces it should match that weight. We are not in a hurry.
The Steward, not the platform
There is no feed, no profile, no audience. One person is responsible for the archive's continuity, and accountable for everything it holds.
We seal moments. For people who are not yet here.
ARC produces time capsules: sealed recordings of a person's life at a particular moment. A conversation. A presence. Evidence that someone existed, and that their existence had texture. Not a performance. A fact.
Each capsule is held in the archive and retrieved, after 10, 50, or 100 years, by whoever is Steward then. The person preserved receives a certificate with a QR code linking to their place in the archive. That is the only thing they keep.
The archive also works with collaborators, researchers, and archivists who contribute to its continuity, through proposals, ongoing projects, or voluntary support.

The archive is maintained by a Steward. The current Steward is Mannu K. He did not found ARC. He received it. As those before him received it. As those after him will.
The Steward conducts every interview personally. He reviews every application. He issues every certificate. He is the only point of contact, because the archive requires a human hand at every stage.
